St Ives wins Gold

In 2024 Cranbrook Plants worked with St Ives in Bloom and St Ives Town Council and designed a planting scheme for the Town.

St Ives in Bloom entered the town display in the RHS Britain in Bloom national competition for the first time.

We were thrilled to be awarded Gold in RHS Britain in Bloom Large town category and Gold in the Anglia in Bloom Large Town.

The flower and planting scheme was also aimed to be ready for “St Ives Green Week”, from 7th-15th June. Designs featured hanging baskets, planted with the focus on using plants that are good for pollinators.

The Women’s Institute (WI) had been in touch to say that it is their 100 year anniversary this year – they had a rose planted in The Waits in the bed nearest to the Norris Museum. This flower bed was based around the WI colours – purple, white and green.

We look forward to working again with St Ives in Bloom and St Ives Town Council this year, to produce another spectacular display.

Members from St Ives Town Council and St Ives in Bloom went to Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester to receive the Award.
